Can I bring my own food and drink to the event?

No food, drinks, alcohol, illegal substances, glass or dangerous objects are allowed into the event. Bags will be searched on entry.

Will I be able to purchase food and alcohol?

A variety of food stalls, soft drinks, bottled water and alcoholic beverages can be purchased throughout Hidden Valley Raceway at various outlets. Ice can also be purchased from appointed outlets.

Can we bring our own fold up chairs?

Yes, patrons are encouraged to bring their own chairs.

Will there be Superscreens to watch all the action?

There are six Superscreens strategically positioned around the Raceway.

Where are the Express entry points?

For HOT PASS ticket holders express entry is available at Gate 1 and Gate 2.

Where do I go if I’ve lost or found belongings?

Lost & Found articles should be turned in to or claimed at the Communications Office situated at the security checkpoint gate.

It’s going to be warm can I bring an inflatable swimming pool to use at the event?

Portable and inflatable pools are strictly prohibited and will be removed if found.

Will there be shade available?

Shade is provided throughout Hidden Valley for the comfort of all patrons. The erection of unapproved shade structures is NOT permitted and this includes umbrellas. Please respect this directive.

What is the radio frequency if I want to bring a pocket radio?

Live radio, commentary of the Hidden Valley race weekend is available on 88.0FM.

Can I purchase souvenirs at Hidden Valley?

T-Shirts, hats and official merchandise can be purchased from the various racing team stalls. Official Hidden Valley merchandise is also available from the Total Promotions outlet.

Is there plenty of parking if I want to drive to the event?

There is provision for 7000 cars. Parking is at no charge to patrons. Security will be patrolling parking areas, however parking is at the owner’s risk.

Is there somewhere safe I can park my motorbike?

There is a separate and secured area adjacent to Gate 4 for motorbike parking.

Where do I go to smoke whilst at the event?

There will be designated smoking ‘pods’ clearly marked around Hidden Valley Raceway. For the comfort of patrons we ask you smoke in the designated areas. Smoking is not permitted near any food area, bar, children’s playground, Pit Paddock or Merchandise Alley.

Will there be security, police and first aid available?

Yes, all will be visible with respective uniforms. For your safety and those around you please obey all directions.

Can I bring my dog?

Pets are NOT permitted into Hidden Valley Raceway.

What activities will there be for kids?

There is a children’s supervised playground with roving entertainment. Some of the activities may incur a fee.

What ticket/s admits access to RACE & ROCK?

3 Day HOT PASS, Monster Viewing Platform Pass, all Corporate Suites tickets and also the relevant Day Pass.

Northern Territory Major Events Company public photography & recording policy

This sporting event will be covered by television and the press.  Accordingly, it is possible that you might be photographed individually or in a crowd scene and/or your voice recorded, with or without your knowledge.  It is a condition of entry that your image and/or voice may be used for commercial exploitation at the discretion of the taker without any notice, payment or compensation to you.

Will free public buses operate after RACE & ROCK?

Yes, the FREE Pit Lane Express bus service will ensure patrons get home safely. Buses will depart adjacent to the track centre at the conclusion of the concerts.

At what age do I require a ticket?

Any person 13 years and under are free to enter the venue, however must be accompanied at all times by their ticket holding parent or legal guardian.

Can I purchase a concession ticket?

Concession tickets for students and pensioners can be purchased at the gate with appropriate ID.

Is Hidden Valley wheelchair accessible?

Yes, disabled parking is located adjacent to Gate 1. Wheelchair bound patrons are best to view the race from the General Admission area located behind the Terrace Hairpin Sites – shaded viewing and disabled toilets are located in this area.

Wheelchair access to Section 4 Track Centre is via the Controlled Pedestrian Track Cross at Section 2. The Track Crossing opens intermittently throughout the day during lulls in racing.

What is the policy on ambush marketing?

The Event Organiser does not permit or support any activity that may be determined as ambush marketing. This will include the handing out of flyers, the placement of posters, the distribution of products or any material considered unauthorised. As a consequence the organiser will request the immediate removal of any person or organisation from the areas deemed to be zoned specifically for the event. What are the sampling guidelines?

Sampling opportunities are available at the Darwin Triple Crown V8 Supercars however, must be approved in writing by NTMEC at least 90 days prior to the event. View the event Sampling Guidelines here.
